Friday Greetings,

On Wednesday, July 28, the One North Redevelopment developer presented an open update on Wednesday, July 28, from 4-6 p.m. One North will be home to a new 35,000 sq. ft., full-service grocery store.  The full-service grocery store will feature a modern design and layout with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, dairy, a floral section, and more. One North will also welcome a new multifamily apartment complex.  The multi-family component, developed by Milhaus, will include six individual buildings ranging from 36-80 units each, with a shared pool, clubhouse facility, and dog park. Completion of the grocery store is anticipated in the Fall of 2022 and completion of the apartment project is anticipated in the Summer of 2023. Tyler Merrigan will start in Public Works, Water Division on Monday, August 2 as a Maintenance Worker.  Bradon Koster will start in the Fire Department on Monday, August 23 as a Firefighter/EMT.  Welcome aboard!

Help for local families struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic is available through a program being administered by Clay County. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program can help families who rent their homes get caught up on past due rent and utility bills.  If you are eligible, make sure to fill out an interest form by clicking the button on our Rental Assistance Portal, which can be found here: https://www.claycountymo.gov/transparency/erap.
