Friday Greetings,

On July 19, the City will begin construction on Howell Street where it intersects with 27th, 29th, and 31st avenues. Curb renovations will be made to reduce traffic speeds and improve accessibility in pedestrian crossings.  Construction is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks, weather permitting. In order to allow crews to complete construction in stages, portions of the road will be closed intermittently for periods of a few hours at a time. Parking immediately adjacent to these intersections will be unavailable day and night for the duration of construction. All other parking on Howell will remain unchanged. If you have any questions, please contact the North Kansas City Public Works Department at 816-274-6004.
