Due to incoming weather, A Night Out and Movie in the Park have been cancelled for this evening, June 25th.

Help for local families struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic is available through a program being administered by Clay County. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program can help families who rent their homes get caught up on past due rent and utility bills.  If you are eligible, make sure to fill out an interest form by clicking the button on our Rental Assistance Portal, which can be found here: https://www.claycountymo.gov/transparency/erap.

Neighborhood Services Officer Tauvasa Faletagoa'i passed her certification exam this week and is now a certified International Code Council (ICC) Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector. Property Maintenance and Housing Inspectors are proficient in enforcing minimum maintenance and condition standards for all properties, buildings, and structures in our city. Every member of the Community Development Department maintains a professional certification in her area of expertise. Congratulations, Tauvasa!
