Northtown 2040 will become the newest Master Plan for North Kansas City, Missouri. It will serve as a framework for thoughtful growth, development, and continued progress. This initiative will also involve a parking study focused on the downtown area and surrounding neighborhood.

The planning process will take place throughout 2026 and into 2027. Whether you are a resident, employee, business owner, or regular visitor of Northtown, please join us as we come together to shape a shared vision for our community.

We’ll wrap up the charrette with a public open house immediately following Session #2. This is a casual, come-and-go event, so bring your family, grab some food, and spend a little time with us. You’ll be able to see what came out of the two-day process, explore the ideas that took shape, and add your own thoughts to the mix.
