  • Join the Battle of the Badges!  Respond to the call to give blood at the NKC First Responders Blood Drive on Friday, August 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the NKC Parks & Recreation Center.  The NKC Fire and Police Departments have teamed up with the American Red Cross to host this community blood drive—and your donation can make a life-saving difference.  To schedule an appointment, call 800-733-2767 or visit www.redcrossblood.org and enter NKCPD.

  • The North Kansas City Comprehensive Safety Action Plan project is in full swing, and we need your input! Please take a few minutes to complete our survey and help us make NKC streets safer for everyone. Scan the QR code on the attached flyer or visit www.nkc.org/safestreets to share your thoughts.

Apply today at www.artsinthepark.org/apply.

  • It’s block party season!  A block party is a great way to celebrate and encourage stronger communities.  North Kansas City residents may apply for a grant to host a neighborhood block party.  Each grant will reimburse eligible expenses up to $400 per event.  For more information on how to apply for a permit for a block party, please visit https://www.nkc.org/our-city/register-to-for/neighborhood-block-party-grants.
