Save the Date! The City of North Kansas City invites the public to attend an Open House for the North Kansas City Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, funded by the USDOT’s SS4A program. The SS4A program supports local governments in developing Safety Action Plans that identify the most significant roadway safety concerns in a community and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries.
Join us for the Open House:
Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Time: 5:00-7:00 PM (drop in anytime)
Location: North Kansas City, City Hall (2010 Howell St, North Kansas City, MO 64116)
A formal presentation will be provided at 5:15 PM and 6:15 PM.
The Open House provides an opportunity for community members to:
• Learn how their input and safety data helped to shape the SS4A Action Plan
• Hear about targeted strategies to address safety concerns
• Share feedback on plan outcomes
The Action Plan identified key safety issues and prioritization methods to address and improve roadway safety for all users, including pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, transit users, and micro-mobility riders, with the goal of eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries.
The event is open to all and feedback gathered will be used to refine the Action Plan.
