The primary source for outdoor activity in North Kansas City is Macken Park. The picnic facilities, walking trail, tennis courts, ballfields and playgrounds are some of the most popular facilities of their kind found in the Northland. The Parks and Recreation Board has teamed with the City Council to bring improvements to facilities in the park. These improvements include a new playground area, improved ballfield lighting, a refurbished tennis facility and an asphalt parking lot. Macken Park is user friendly! FACILITY LOCATIONS
