DAY / OVERNIGHT TRIPS
Trip flyers are mailed out twice a year. Sixteen day trips and 2 overnight trips are planned for each flyer. Trips include sightseeing tours, trips to dinner theatres, trips of local interest, and a “mystery” trip. Senior citizens, aged 50 and over, are encouraged to mark all the trips that you are interested in taking and return the registration form to the Parks office.  Residents of North Kansas City are given priority.  At the deadline date, you will be contacted as to whether you are still interested in that particular trip.  If you are, your payment is due within a week’s time.

SENIOR HAPPENINGS
There are always activities in the Senior Room at the Community Center. We’ll be happy to mail you a copy of our Senior Happenings for a particular month or you can call the Parks office for information. All senior citizens are welcome to join in a card game, help with a volunteer project, or enjoy the entertainment at a planned party. All activities in the Senior Room are free.

GOLDEN SENIOR CLUB
Senior citizens are encouraged to join us for this once-a-month club meeting.  The club meets in the multi-purpose room at the Community Center, starting at 10:45 a.m. There is always a guest speaker and some form of entertainment, along with a short business meeting and potluck luncheon. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share and personal place settings.  There is no fee to join.
