Mission Our mission is to provide a safe, secure environment in North Kansas City by providing professional police service. We will protect the rights of all under the established laws by maintaining order, forming partnerships with the community, and preserving human dignity. The North Kansas City Police Department is commissioned with forty sworn officers, fourteen full-time civilians and three part-time civilians.
