Parks & Recreation invites you to the last Friday Night Concert this year on Friday, September 10 beginning at 7 p.m. featuring Gypsies Doves & Dreams (Stevie Nicks Tribute) with Robb Stewart. Flyer attached.

In observation of the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, the North Kansas City Fire Department will install 343 flags for Firefighters, 60 flags for Police Officers, and 55 flags for Military Personnel to remember those lost that day at Caboose Park at the corner of Armour and Howell Street this Saturday.   The flags will be displayed until Monday, September 13.

Aaron Schank, a previous part-time parking control officer, and Matthew Ryerson will start as Police Academy Cadets and begin attending the KCMO Police Academy next week.

The Citywide Garage Sale will be Saturday, September 18.  The Citywide garage sale does not require a permit to participate. In case of inclement weather, this event will be held the following Saturday, Sept. 25.  

Parks & Recreation is conducting a Call to Artists for the upcoming 4th Annual Mistletowne Market, Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21. Limited spots available. Apply at https://www.artsinthepark.org/apply.

Parks & Recreation has partnered with the North Kansas City Hospital’s Cub W to host a Ladies Night Out on Friday, November 5, dedicated to women's health and wellness.

Help for local families struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic is available through a program being administered by Clay County. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program can help families who rent their homes get caught up on past due rent and utility bills.  If you are eligible, make sure to fill out an interest form by clicking the button on our Rental Assistance Portal, which can be found here: https://www.claycountymo.gov/transparency/erap.
