Friday Greetings,

We would like to welcome our new part-time parks maintenance worker Alita Sledz – welcome aboard!  Her first day with us will be Tuesday, May 7.

The Communications Team celebrated Local Government Week by producing five videos showcasing City Departments and functions for broadcast on the City’s social media channels and CTV-2.  The videos include:

The Bicycle Master Plan development process has begun. BikeWalkKC will begin traffic observations next Thursday (depending on weather) with cameras temporarily mounted on our poles around town. 

The City Council and the Planning Commission will conduct a joint work session on the proposed new zoning ordinance on Tuesday, April 30, at 6 p.m.
