Friday Greetings,

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources recommends cleaning and inspecting water storage tanks every five years.  MidCo Diving and Marine Services was selected for the project. Their technician used scuba equipment to access the City’s two water storage tanks: the 240,000-gallon clear well located at the Water Treatment Plant and the 1.8 million gallon Water Reservoir. Although the City will not receive an official inspection report until later, MidCo’s staff indicated that the storage facilities are in excellent condition and contain minimal debris.

Last night, BikeWalkKC named the Diamond Parkway Cycle Track as their 2018 Bike/Ped Project of the Year.

The Tim C. Crummett Family Charitable Fund has announced its Public Art Mural Pilot Program. The Public Art Mural Pilot Program will be conducted in a two-step process: Call for Walls and a Call for Artists.  The Call to Walls is open from April 1-26. Building owners can submit their wall for consideration in the Public Art Mural Pilot Program. (Business tenants can submit a wall but building owners must submit a letter of support with the application form.)  For more information visit www.nkc.org/publicart.
