Thursday Greetings,

Mikenzy Brown started this week with the NKC Police Department as a shelter attendant.  Welcome aboard!

Weather forecasters are calling for accumulations of up to 5 inches of snow beginning on Friday, December 31, and continuing through Saturday, January 1.  Municipal Services crews will place mobile Emergency Snow Route/No Parking signs on both sides of Armour Road between Fayette and Linn Streets this afternoon.  During a declared snow emergency, vehicles are prohibited from parking on Armour Road between Fayette and Linn Streets.  All parked vehicles must be moved from Armour Road between Fayette and Linn Streets by 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  Parking may resume once the snow emergency has been deactivated.  The City will announce the activation and deactivation of the emergency snow route on its website, Textcaster, and social media channels.
