COVID-19 Update 3/21/20
There are currently zero confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Clay County Public Health Center's jurisdiction (all of Clay County except the city of Kansas City). However, there are several confirmed cases in nearby areas and so all residents, regardless of age, are encouraged to practice social distancing to slow the spread of disease.
If you have questions about COVID-19, please call the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) hotline at 1-877-435-8411. The hotline is being operated by medical professionals and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Governor Parson issued an order that every person in the State of Missouri shall avoid social gatherings of more than ten (10) people. For purposes of this Order, “social gatherings” shall mean any planned or spontaneous event or convening that would bring together more than ten (10) people in a single space at the same time.
Recent Public Health measures have been difficult for our local business community and we encourage you to continue shopping locally by utilizing delivery, pick-up and drive-thru services.  Here is a list to help find NKC restaurants w/these options – www.nkcgo.com
If you have any questions or concerns about City Services during the COVID-19 event, please send a note to city@nkc.org.
