Macken Park
Located at the corners of Clark Ferguson Drive and Howell Street and just 5 minutes north of downtown KC, this beautifully maintained 60 acre park is home to a variety of park activities such as walking, jogging, picnicking and several other forms of recreation. It features a tree lined 1 mile paved walking / jogging circuit with fitness stops along the way. It also has numerous ball fields, recreation areas and playgrounds.

Dagg Park
This newly renovated park is set to open Memorial Day Weekend 2016. This great 5 acre park has a brand new ocean themed spray park play area and 2 new playgrounds. The spray park is a great place for families to experience a day at the beach with dolphins, sting rays, starfish and more. And, if your little ones don’t feel like getting wet, they will definitely love the 2 new playgrounds.

Waggin’ Trail Dog Park
Located at 432 E. 32nd Avenue.  This 4.70 acre off leash Dog Park is a partnership between the City of North Kansas City, and the City of Kansas City. Small dogs and large dogs are kept separate to keep you pups feeling safe and secure. Each area has a paved walking trail and multiple obstacles to keep your best friend occupied.

Memorial Park
Featuring a replica of the Statue of Liberty, this small memorial park is defined by a street meridian and contains several features commemorating the history of wars fought involving American citizens. It is located at 716 East 23rd Avenue adjacent to the North Kansas City High School.


Wheel Park
Looking for a dedicated rollerblading / bike trail? Wheel Park is a one-half mile paved circuit just for you! This park is located on the corner of Clark Ferguson Drive and Ozark, just south of Macken Park.
