City Administrator

City Administrator Eric Berlin retired on July 2nd. The City is currently recruiting for the position. For more information, visit Baker Tilly Recruitment. Deputy City Administrator Kim Nakahodo will be serving as Interim City Administrator until the position is filled.

The City Administrator is appointed by and serves at the discretion of the City Council. The City Administrator provides professional leadership and direction in the administration of the policies and objectives established by the City Council. The City Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supervising the operation of City departments and implementing new programs and administrative policies to meet the professional management needs of the City.

The Deputy City Administrator provides administrative support services to the City Administrator, Mayor and City Council. The position can be responsible for a number of special projects, serves as a point of contact for economic development issues, and is the liaison to the KCATA. The position also serves as the staff representative to the Tax Increment Financing Commission.
