Macken Park

Located at the corners of Clark Ferguson Drive and Howell Street and just 5 minutes north of downtown KC, this beautifully maintained 60 acre park is home to a variety of park activities such as walking, jogging, picnicking and several other forms of recreation. It features a tree lined 1 mile paved walking / jogging circuit with fitness stops along the way. It also has numerous ball fields, recreation areas and playgrounds.

Park shelters are available to rent. Fee is structured for resident and non-resident rate.

Shelters 1 and 4 will accommodate up to 100 people
Shelters 2 and 3 will accommodate up to 60 people
Shelter 6 will accommodate up to 80 people
Festival Shelter will accommodate up to 200 people

Ball Fields
  • Three baseball/softball fields

  • Four racquetball/handball courts
Other Amenities
  • Three public restroom buildings
  • One-mile asphalt walking trail
